NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Tri-Basin Natural Resources District, hereinafter called the NRD, desires to receive sealed bids for herbicide application on several NRD-operated drainage ditches in Kearney County located in T8N, R15W and R16W in Kearney County. 

Said bids must be prepared on bid forms supplied by the NRD and must be filed in the NRD Office at 1723 Burlington St., Holdrege, Nebraska no later than 12 PM (Noon) Central Daylight Time on March 22, 2024, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the presence of bidders and their representatives.  Approval of a bid by the Board of Directors of the District will constitute a contract between the parties and which contract shall consist of the documents as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders.

Copies of the Instructions to Bidders, Bid Forms and Specifications may be obtained either by calling the office of, or by writing to Tri-Basin Natural Resources District, 1723 Burlington St., Holdrege, NE  68949 (Toll Free 1-877-995-6688). 

Bids may not be withdrawn for forty-five days after the actual date of opening thereof and no bids will be considered that are delivered to the NRD Office after said time.

The contract will be awarded on the basis of the best bids, provided the bids are reasonable and it is in the interest of the NRD to accept, as may be determined by the Board of Directors of the NRD.  Said NRD, however, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any provisions, requirements, specifications or formalities, or informalities, in bids received, all as determined by the Board of Directors of the NRD.
